Coordinated Neurosurgical Referrals

We welcome referrals and case discussions for adult and pediatric patients who may need neurosurgical evaluation in Metro Manila, Kalibo, Aklan, or through an appropriate online consultation. My practice covers general neurosurgery, with focused expertise in pituitary, skull base, brain tumor, endoscopic, and minimally invasive neurosurgery.

Conditions commonly referred

• Pituitary adenomas and other sellar or parasellar lesions

• Skull base tumors, including meningioma, vestibular schwannoma, chordoma, and chondrosarcoma

• Primary and metastatic brain tumors

• Hydrocephalus and cases that may benefit from neuroendoscopy

• Cerebrovascular disorders, cranial nerve compression syndromes, and selected complex spine conditions

• Multidisciplinary treatment planning

Information that helps with review

When available, please send a concise clinical summary; MRI or CT images and reports; relevant endocrine laboratory results; visual-field or ophthalmology findings; pathology reports; prior operative notes; and a current medication and comorbidity list. Imaging in DICOM format is preferred when feasible.

Urgent cases

Patients with declining consciousness, new weakness, seizures, sudden severe headache, acute visual loss, or other rapidly worsening neurological symptoms should be directed to the nearest emergency department. This website is not an emergency service.

Collaborative care

We are available to coordinate with endocrinologists, neurologists, ENT–head and neck surgeons, ophthalmologists, oncologists, radiation oncologists, rehabilitation physicians, and primary-care colleagues. The goal is clear communication, timely assessment, and a treatment plan tailored to the diagnosis and the patient’s priorities.
