Dr. Jerold Justo is a subspecialist in Minimally Invasive Neurosurgery and Neuroendoscopy, with focused expertise in endoscopic pituitary and skull base surgery. He completed dedicated training under Professor Sebastién Froelich, Chief of Service of the Department of Neurosurgery at Assistance Publique – Hôpitaux de Paris (Lariboisière Hospital, Paris, France) and Chairman of the Skull Base Committee of the World Federation of Neurosurgical Societies (WFNS).
His practice centers on treating complex brain and skull base conditions using advanced minimally invasive and endoscopic approaches, with the goal of achieving maximal surgical precision while minimizing disruption to surrounding brain, cranial nerves, and critical blood vessels.
These techniques are particularly valuable in lesions involving the pituitary gland and skull base, where surgical access is traditionally challenging. By utilizing modern endoscopic strategies, many cases can be managed with less brain retraction, smaller surgical footprints, and improved recovery, when clinically appropriate.
Dr. Justo’s foundation in skull base and endoscopic pituitary surgery was shaped early in his training through mentorship from the pioneering endoscopic skull base team in the Philippines, including Dr. Michael Sabalza and Dr. Peter Jarin, whose guidance played a key role in his subspecialty development.
Today, Dr. Justo is committed to helping advance skull base and neuroendoscopic surgery in the Philippines—bringing world-class subspecialty techniques closer to Filipino patients through safe, modern, and minimally invasive neurosurgical care.
