Dr. Jerold Justo has a sub-specialization in the field of Skull Base Neurosurgery from Paris, France where he trained under Professor Sébastien Froelich who serves as current Chef de Service of the Neurosurgery Department in Assistance Publique - Hopitaux de Paris Lariboisière Hospital in Paris, France.

Skull Base Neurosurgery is a special field inside neurosurgery involved in treating diseases at the base of the skull. It is known for it's complexity because of the vast amount of critical neural and vascular structures in this region. The challenge of skull base neurosurgery is to make as little impact as possible to normal brain through less retraction using certain approaches at the base of the skull. This includes other minimally invasive approaches such as endoscopic surgeries (brain surgeries through the nose).
